I have been part of the broadcasting crew with the Bulldogs for 2 years, during which I have learned the audio board, graphics and replay system in addition to how live sports is broadcast. Having been a part of set up and strike for every live production has given me the hands on experience required to assemble and set up equipment such as tripods, lighting as well as running cable. However, I also have a passion for editing, and have achieved my AVID Certification. I'm experienced with Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects and can quickly pick up different software. Organizing and syncing audio and video files with multiple camera configurations, as well as colour correction and audio editing. I believe I have many skills when it comes to live broadcasting as well as deep and thorough understanding of how to tell a story from start to finish. Having her Honours B.A from Bishop's University, Christina has trained with The Second City, the Actor's Network, TVI Studios in L.A and more. She feels actors never stop learning and encourages her students to exercise their craft from a varied array of arts educators for a whole perspective of the craft. Christina has taught & coached acting for stage and screen, improvisation and career related workshops for both the public & private sectors all over Halton Region and guided artists & professionals of all levels successfully towards achieving their goals. Christina’s passion for teaching has led her to Belvoir Terrace, a performing arts school outside of New York City and locally for the infamous Hamilton Film Festival, The Staircase Theatre, Hamilton's Conservatory for the Arts, Imagination Works and Toronto's "The Learning Annex". However, Christina can usually be found in the McIntyre Theatre at Mohawk College where she has been teaching adult classes for her Performing Arts Certificate program she co-created 10 + years ago and is still humbled by the amazing individuals she meets each year who dare to kick their fears to the curb and try something new.
While teaching classes/workshops and coaching artists in the G.T.A., her enthusiasm and passion for people is obvious, as many students of all ages/levels will tell you as they succeed both personally and professionally. With a marriage between creation, collaboration and skill, Jessica prides herself on creatively executing efficient and clean makeups with a high standard of etiquette and professionalism.
Jessica began her creative vocation at McMaster University, receiving an Honours BA in the school's Film & Theatre program. She then continued her studies at Complections College of Makeup Art & Design, graduating from the Complete Degree Program.
Having worked as the Key Makeup and Hair artist in a variety of formats, some recent long format credits include Sythia Films feature, and TIFF 2014 Best Canadian First Feature Bang Bang Baby (2014) developed at the prestigious Cannes Residency, Canadian legend Bruce Macdonalds feature The Husband (2012) and Canadian Screen Award nominated web series The Amazing Gayl Pile (2014). Jessica's work has been screened at multiple festivals including TIFF, Sundance Film Festival, Festival de Cannes, Whistler Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, Reel World Film Festival and Toronto and LA Webfests. She was recently awarded Best Makeup Design at the Rome Web Awards for her work on the three time CSA Nominated Webseries Whatever, Linda and also holds a nomination for Best Makeup design at the Indie Series Awards in 2013 for CSA winning Webseries Ruby Skye PI.

I am the program director of Reel Streetz Media Camp, which uses film, poetry and spoken word to give at-risk youth in Hamilton a creative voice. This includes helping the youth shape their ideas and writings and directing them in usage of various film techniques.
In my own time I work as a creative consultant and screenwriter, as well as developing my own projects.
