Filmmaking is project-based learning. We apply many of the same techniques across all camps, but the creative result is always much different! You can be a beginner, or emerging, and still have a great experience at these camps! If you hear any established director speak about how to become a filmmaker, they always say "keep making movies," and that's what we do here!

STEP 2:
READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
All camps and classes will take place in our classroom in the
Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre, 357 Wilson St. E, Ancaster Ontario, Room #213

SAFETY & REFUNDS
All our camps and classes will follow the current guidelines as set out by the province of Ontario. Full refunds will be issued if the camps have to close, or reduce capacity, as a result of public health measures.

For non-public health related cancellations, you will be refunded less a $40 processing fee. You also have the option of carrying your balance over to future camps.  Please notify us 30 days before the camp begins. After this date, we will not be able to issue a full refund.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
There are many opportunities in this camp for your child to learn a skill they wish to explore. Behind the scenes, or on camera, they will all have options to choose from, and can participate in, each role they wish as the class offers everyone a chance to do something, regardless of experience. As we have run this camp a few times, those with more experience will take on more experienced roles, breaking off into groups for more defined learning and training.

Here are a few of our role descriptions
   •   Writer: Creative with words and likes making up stories.
   •   Directing: A good communicator with an eye for detail.
   •   Producer: Someone who is organized and can keep things on track.
   •   Camera Operator: Someone who loves filming things and would be comfortable with an iPad or video camera.
   •   Art Department: Someone who is crafty and loves art projects.
   •   Acting: If you can't resist performing, this is for you!
